Show categories or taxonomy listing of any custom post type in style using listing methods like Grid, Masonry, Metro, and Carousel options, and on top of that, there are options for 3d Parallax, Mouse move parallax, and Messy columns.

How to use the Dynamic Category Widget of The Plus Addons For Elementor

This widget saves you a lot of time by helping you create awesome looking dynamic category listings in no time. Let’s understand how to use this widget in the tutorial below.

General Steps

Search for the Dynamic Category widget from the Elementor screen in the left and then drag and drop it into the content building area.

After dropping the element, you will see three tabs i.e. Content, Style, and Advanced related to this widget. First, click on the Content tab.

Show Images on Category

If you wish to show images on your Category then you need to enable the Thumbnail options from your admin panel.
Navigate to The Plus Settings >> Extra Options and Enable Thumbnail options (Dynamic Categories)

Once you enable that option you can find the Thumbnail option to upload images for each and every custom post type when you add new category.

Grid

Taxonomies

Select the Taxonomies here, select in what order you want to display the Categories.

Content Alignment

Alignment

Set the Content Alignment here.

Offset

Set the Offset option here.

Hide Empty

Slide right to hide empty categories.

Hide Sub Categories

Slide right to hide empty sub categories.

Terms ID

Enter the Terms ID here, if you want to use multiple add commas in between.

Maximum Categories Display

Set the maximum number of categories to display per page.

Offset Categories

This option is used to hide Categories at the beginning of the listing.

Order By

Order your listings based on date, author, title, random, comment count, etc.

Order

Order your listings based on date, author, title, random, comment count, etc.

Display Product Count

Slide right to enable Product Count.

Display Description

Slide right to enable description size.

Display Image Size

Slide right to enable and set the image size.

Columns Manage

Set Columns Gap / Space Between for the Dynamic Category widget

Desktop Column

Set the number of listing columns to be displayed on the desktop.

Tablet Column

Set the number of listing columns to be displayed on the tablet.

Mobile Column

Set the max-width of your Audio Player widget. Click the icon to set different widths for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Columns Gap / Space Between

Set the space between your columns. We recommend 15-20px.

2. Style

The Style tab is used for customizing the appearance of all the Tabs & Tours widget components. All these styling options include customizing the fonts, colors, background, margins, and padding which are common across all the widgets. Title

Set the Typography, Title color, Text Shadow, Title Background, and Title underline here.

Product Count

Set the Padding, Product Count After Text, Top/Bottom Offset, Left/Right Offset, Typography, Count color, and Background options.

Content Loop

Set the category Whole Overlay Color, Hover Content Only, Border Type, Border Radius, Transform CSS, Transition Duration, CSS Filters, Box Shadow, and Inner Content Option here.

Extra Options

Set options like Overflow, Tilt 3d Parallax, Mouse over Parallax, and Messy Columns option here.
