How to Update The Plus Add-ons for Gutenberg Manually?

Are you having any issues while updating your plugin and need to update that manually? Or have you got our stable beta version and want to install that manually? Here are the steps to do that.

Note: Make sure, You are taking a complete backup of your website (Files + Database) before updating your plugin. You can use a backup plugin like UpdraftPlus or any other.

1. First of all you need to download the latest version or your required plugin version from Our Store. Check Steps to download the plugin

1.1. Visit and Press Login/Signup from the top area of Navigation Bar.
1.2. On the Login Page, Enter your login details. Your Email Address and Password.
1.3. From the top menu “My Account ” click on “Purchase History”.

1.4. On Purchase history Page, Click on “View Details and Download” link.


1.5. From That page, You will see purchase details and at the bottom of page, You will have option to download versions of plugin. You can download any of those.

2. First method of installing updated version is using WordPress Admin way, In to that You need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page

There, You need to deactivate currently installed plugin and remove it. After that, click on the ‘Upload Plugin’ button on top of the page.

Once you select file to upload, you need to click on the ‘Install Now’ button. WordPress will now start uploading plugin from your computer to your server.

Upon successful upload, You will get a success message like attached screenshot. Now, You need to Press “Activate” to start using it.

3. Second Method is using FTP Client or CPanel’s FileManager option. In this method, You will need to use FTP credentials and login in your FTP client like Filezilla or any other. Or If your cPanel have FileManager, You may use that as well.

First of all, You need to remove files of currently installed plugin from /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Now, You need to upload downloaded Zip file at location /wp-content/plugins/ and extract it there in a folder. You may remove ZIP file after extracting it in a normal folder format.

Once you will put that in normal folder format, You need to go to Dashboard -> Plugins from your WordPress Admin Dashboard. You will see plugin listed over there. You now need to click on “Activate” to start using that.
