Spacer is a component which is used to allow user to put in some space.

Nothing, just decide how much space you want to make, try it and put it. You can always make changes if that doesn’t look cool.

How to use the Spacer Block of The Plus Addons For Gutenberg

The Spacer block comes with simple styling options, with the help you can create a standard layout and other block layouts too for your websites.

Setting up

Gutenberg gives multiple ways to add spacer into the content building area or we say playground. Check for the “+” icon in the top toolbar or click the “+” icon in the content area or start typing spacer after “/” sign, eg.“/spacer”, in the content area. Gutenberg also provides drag & drop after opening the list of Blocks panel.

After placing the Block you’ll see three tabs on the right editing panel containing “Layout”, “Style” and “Advanced”. Go and start with the Layout tab.



Want to use global spacing options or custom ones.


Decide how much space you want to leave, that’s it.

Global Height

With this option, you can set none, large, medium, and small height of the spacer.
